On the successful completion of this course, participants will have gained the knowledge and practical skills to safely operate overhead cranes.

All overhead crane operators.

Objectives of Course:
At the completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
- Successfully distinguish unserviceable equipment

- Demonstrate correct Crane hand signals
- Demonstrate a basic knowledge of chains, FSWR and synthetic slings for lifting
- Understand pendant controls to effect correct operation of overhead crane
- Demonstrate the safe and efficient operation of Overhead cranes
- Demonstrate knowledge of:-
1. Site Hazards
2. Lifting Gear
3. Movement of Loads
4. Overhead Crane Operations
