About the course

Get the training you need with the two units of competence required for Statutory Supervisors in Western Australia. The WHS Statutory Supervisor training includes the approved WHS risk management units for statutory positions under Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022 Schedule 26.

​This course is designed for supervisors and managers needing to gain the necessary leadership knowledge and skills to ensure they effectively manage health and safety in their area of responsibility and understand workplace health and safety legislation.

WHS​ Statutory Supervisor Course Nationally Recognised Units of Competency

The Statutory Supervisor training comprises of two units of competency:

  • BSBWHS411 Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs.
  • BSBWHS414 Contribute to WHS risk management.

​The units delivered will meet the expected WorkSafe requirements for statutory supervisors under Schedule 26 of the WHS (Mines) Regulations (WA) 2022.

 

In addition to this course there is also an examination component for Statutory Supervisors. This is managed by the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS). Visit the WA government website for more information.
